Herkúles

Hestar.is a training-selling-teaching facility run by Tómas Örn Snorrason and Jelena Ohm. We are located at the farm Forsæti in the south of Iceland. We are both certified trainers and Riding Instructors C from F.T. We take horses into training and always have a variety of horses for sale. We also breed on a small scale and travel far and wide for individual and group lessons. Please feel free to browse our webpage and contact us for more information!

  • 2. Level Knapamerki challangers succeed!

    Four of Jelena´s students challanged the second level of Knapamerki as well, and everyone passed with flying colors! Now it´s time to buckle down and start with the 3rd level!

  • Jelena wins at Þorrablót Tölt!

    There was a small tölt competition held on Friday Jan.29 in Hvolsvöllur. Jelena rode Svalvör frá Glæsibæ and they won the Open Tölt class :)

  • Everyone passes the 1st Level Knapamerki :)

    Jelena has started to teach in Hvolsvöllur, the town nearby, and a group of her students recently took their first test in the Icelandic Knapamerki system (a teaching system divided into levels), and everyone passed :)
