The month of Þorri is upon us, which is a time period from the old heathen religion here in Iceland. People are now celebrating this period by coming together and eating traditional foods, and dancing the night away. There was small tölt competition held in honor of this month, to get us all up and going for the next competition season. The mare Svalvör frá Glæsibæ is out of Þór frá Prestsbakka and Héla frá Glæsibæ. She is in training here at Forsæti and is a very good 4gaited mare. She is owned by Kjartan Guðbrandsson.
