Lessons/Clinics:

We offer clinics, as well as group and individual lessons. We both love to travel and enjoy coming to new/and old destinations to work with our students and horses to improve their communication and performances. Training:

At hestar.is we offer professional and considerate training for your horse. Every horse is individually evaluated and trained according to it´s character and abilities. All of our horses are started with patience and are taught basic dressage as building blocks for the future. We put a lot of emphasis on having well behaved horses that are trained with positive reinforcement. We train horses of all levels, from starting youngsters to advanced training, all the way to breeding show and/or competition level.

We also take yearlings and two- and three- year-olds as a preparational training where they are being accustomed to being handled by people. First and foremost the youngsters learn to accept human leadership through trust. Being haltered and led, and having their hooves picked up are the basic fundamentals for any further training. We find this to be extremely helpful, making the future training easier for both horse and trainer.
